Tools During Challenges
In this life, we all go through challenges. Some challenges may literally feel as if they are going to take you out. God knows there have been times when I felt that I couldn't overcome some things. In retrospect, I can look back and see that God gave me the very tools that were necessary to overcome those challenging situations. The bible is rich in stories where God gave his people the tools needed to defeat their challenges or challengers. I am reminded of a little shepard boy named David. At this time Israel was being taunted and challenged by the Philistines. To make matters worse, a giant by the name of Goliath attempted to defy Israel. The tribes of Israel had forgotten their tools. They had forgotten that they worshipped the true GOD. They had forgotten their power. Fear had overtaken them. But, David was puzzled and even angered. He couldn't understand how a pagan would dare defy God and God's people. At this young age, David had tapped into his tools. David asked, 'For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?' -1 Samuel 17:26 Notice that David didn't use the word 'army' but instead he said 'armies.' This indicated that something greater than Israel was helping them on that day. Simply, it was a heavenly host that was with Israel. David tapped into his tools. David was too little to wear the full armor that warriors wear, so instead he opted for his regular attire. He got his slang and 5 stones. He took Goliath down with just those tools. When we are challenged with the things that dare to defy us, we must seek our tools in Christ. We must ask God how to overcome the very thing that aims to shut us down or take us off of the right path. God is faithful that he will give us the tools to overcome every challenge. So, what is this thing that is in your path that is defying and challenging you? Has this challenger told you that you cannot make it? Does it taunt you? I believe that you have the very tools to take that thing down and remove it from your path. If there is a Goilath in your life, then it means that your destiny is big. David's life changed after he took Goliath down. Later down the road, David became the 2nd King of Israel. Today, do not let that Goliath deter or stop you! Instead, take him down and keep going. There is something wonderful waiting for you after you defeat this challenge. 'The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?' Psalm 118:6

Your Defining Moment
What if all of the pain, hurt, betrayal, & etc., has led to this defining moment for you? There is usually a breaking that transpires in our lives before the 'break through.' Don't give up something greater is on the other side of the pain you've endured! Wait upon the Lord!
Isaiah 43:19
'Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.'
